About us
Señor Tequilas Grill was born from family roots, culinary passion, and a deep love for authentic Mexican cuisine. The original concept was developed in Wisconsin by Osmin Lizama and his nephew Ángel Raúl Díaz, who together launched the first version of the restaurant.
Building on that solid foundation, Angel Rail Diaz-also recognized for his experience leading the Los Toltecos restaurant chain in Virginia-brought the vision to Northern Virginia, alongside his wife, Perla Rios, with the mission of offering traditional, made-from-scratch dishes in a warm and festive atmosphere.
On August 6, 2018, they opened the first Señor Tequilas location in Ashburn, VA, followed by a second location in Fairfax a few months later.
Since then, every dish at both locations has been carefully crafted using authentic recipes and always under the supervision of a Mexican chef.
In 2025, the restaurant evolved and adopted the name Señor Tequilas Grill, better representing the unique fusion of bold Mexican flavors and the vibrant bar experience.
